The gateway to Hanoi gets more and more crowded as the evening goes on.

After the last working day, people flocked out of Hanoi to return to their hometowns for Tet. The southern gateway to the city became more and more crowded with people and vehicles as the evening wore on.


According to the traffic police forecast, traffic conditions at the gateway to Hanoi and major cities will continue to be hot until tomorrow afternoon, January 25. Lieutenant Colonel Le Quang Hoa - Head of the Traffic Guidance, Control and Tour Guide Department said: "4 working groups including 2 motorbikes and cars, will urge, inspect and prevent traffic jams in Hanoi. In case of detecting incidents, traffic jams or passenger cars stopping, picking up and dropping off passengers in violation of regulations, the groups will notify the traffic police team in charge of the area to handle the situation immediately to help people go home for Tet holiday smoothly".
