On the afternoon of March 12, the announcement ceremony of the 2nd National Student Futsal Championship in 2024, also known as SV5, took place, in which former national player Tran Huu Dong Trieu made a comeback as a member of FPT Polytechnic College.
Previously, after signing a contract with FPT Polytechnic College, Tran Huu Dong Trieu had a "casting" session to find football talents for the school team on March 3 at the indoor football field of Military Region 5 ( Da Nang City).

It is known that Tran Huu Dong Trieu is currently a student affairs officer and participates in professional work in the Board of Directors of FPT Polytechnic College - the gold sponsor of SV5.
The launching ceremony of SV5 tournament was attended by Vice President of Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Nguyen Xuan Vu. With the slogan "study hard, play hard", this year's tournament announced 32 participating school teams.

Including 12 Northern teams (qualifying round from March 18, Flying Saucer Stadium - Phenikaa University), 8 Central teams (qualifying round from March 20, Sports Center - Da Nang University) and 12 Southern teams (from March 25, Rach Mieu Stadium).
The qualifying round will select 8 outstanding names to compete in the national final round, scheduled to take place from May 6 to May 16, at the Sports Center - Danang University (Da Nang City). The matches of the tournament will be broadcast live by media sponsor FPT Play.
Tran Huu Dong Trieu was emotional at his first appearance in a new role in a student football tournament: "My feelings right now are very happy. To create a playground like this requires a lot of things, it is not easy. So besides winning or losing on the field, each match according to Trieu is a very interesting experience.

But the most important thing for students, whether playing on the field, 7-a-side or 11-a-side, is to respect the rules, respect the referee and respect the opponent."
It is known that, in parallel with working as a student and coach at FPT Polytechnic College, Tran Huu Dong Trieu will officially embark on a coaching career starting with a C-level course organized by VFF next July.
