On November 12, news from Thanh Vu Medic Bac Lieu General Hospital said that the hospital's doctors had successfully treated two patients with acute myocardial infarction on the same day. Both patients had many underlying medical conditions and were admitted to the hospital in a critical condition.

Specifically, on the morning of November 8, male patient THN (59 years old, residing in Gia Rai Town, Bac Lieu) was hospitalized with acute chest pain in the 4th hour on the background of mixed hyperlipidemia, hypertension, with a poor prognosis.
By the evening of the same day, the hospital received a male patient HVD (64 years old, residing in Hong Dan District, Bac Lieu) with severe left chest pain. This is a typical symptom of acute myocardial infarction on the background of many diseases, such as: Mixed hyperlipidemia, gastroesophageal reflux, with a poor prognosis.
After examination, the interventional cardiology team immediately took the two patients to the cardiac catheterization room, performed emergency coronary intervention with active medical treatment, such as: using high-dose vasopressors, anticoagulants, and dual antiplatelet agents. After the procedure, the health of the two patients is now stable and they can be discharged in the next few days.
