On March 21, the leader of the People's Committee of Da Lat City ( Lam Dong ) said that Da Lat was awarded prizes by the Asia Festival Awards 2025 program on the occasion of the 2025 Global Festival Summit held in Korea.
Mr. Nguyen Van Son, Vice Chairman of Da Lat City People's Committee, on behalf of the city received the award from the representative of the Asian Festival Awards in Korea.
Specifically, Da Lat with the Da Lat Flower Festival was honored with the "Asia Flower and Garden Festival of 2025" and the Asia Pinnacle Awards in the category of "Best Eco-Friendly Festival" voted by the International Festival and Event Association of Asia (IFEA ASIA).
The Asian Festival Awards recognize Da Lat's efforts over many years to build the image of a green, friendly and sustainable city, and become a leading tourist destination in Asia.
Da Lat Flower Festival contributes to promoting the nature, culture and people of Lam Dong to the whole country and internationally.
Da Lat has organized the Flower Festival 10 times. The Asian Festival Awards recognizes the Da Lat Flower Festival as a typical cultural and tourism event of Lam Dong province and the whole country, contributing to promoting the cultural values, nature and people of Da Lat - Lam Dong in particular and Vietnam in general to the world.
In addition to these awards, in 2023, Da Lat was recognized as a UNESCO Creative City of Music ; in 2024, Da Lat entered the Top 5 most impressive Festival cities in Asia.
