Da Nang connects jobs for students and workers

On July 10, the Department of Home Affairs of Da Nang City coordinated with the University of Economics (University of Da Nang) and the Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs Association to organize the 9th Student Job Fair - 2025 with the participation of hundreds of businesses and more than 3,000 students.

This year's job fair had 185 businesses participating in recruitment, of which more than 100 businesses participated in direct recruitment interviews on-site; more than 80 businesses entrusted and recruited through the city's Employment Service Center.

The total number of workers needed is 8,131, including the following levels: 2,297 university and postgraduate workers; 2,315 college and intermediate workers; the rest are technical workers and unskilled workers.

This year’s job fair focuses on connecting and introducing jobs in many forms such as registering to submit applications for direct recruitment interviews; consulting, guiding, and disseminating policies to support employment from the central government and the city. The highlight is the talk show “Innovative thinking - A foundation for students to be ready to start a business”.

At the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs of Da Nang City, said that in recent years, the locality has issued many policies and solutions to create jobs for workers such as: public employment policy through programs and projects; loan policy from the national employment fund; signing cooperation agreements with countries to send workers to work abroad; policies to support vocational training and create jobs for social policy beneficiaries...

In particular, the program “Cities 3 have jobs” has been implemented since 2015 until now. In which, there is a solution to implement annual job fairs and exchanges, aiming to connect students as well as workers with businesses and employers.

Through the festival, new graduates and workers have the opportunity to access recruitment information, advice, career orientation, and find suitable jobs; businesses will recruit workers with knowledge and skills suitable for the job positions that the business needs to recruit.
