On November 16, Danang University held a ceremony to celebrate its 30th anniversary. Speaking at the ceremony, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son acknowledged that over the past 30 years, Danang University has trained tens of thousands of highly qualified human resources in many fields, making important contributions to the country's construction and development.
The training quality of the unit is constantly improved towards output standards.
“In the early years of its establishment, from a number of single-major schools, the scale was only over 7,000 full-time students, with more than 20 undergraduate training majors and a few postgraduate majors.
Up to now, Danang University has developed into a large training center with 18 fields (6 times increase), 136 university majors (more than 6 times increase), 44 master's training majors and 29 doctoral training majors; the training scale is among the top in the country with more than 64,000 students and trainees," said Minister Nguyen Kim Son.

The Minister also emphasized the expectations of the Party and State in developing Danang University, with the hope that it will become one of the major university training centers in the country, playing an important role in training high-quality human resources, contributing to improving research capacity, technology transfer, and training human resources for the semiconductor industry and other key technology industries.
At the ceremony, Danang University received a certificate of merit from the Minister of Education and Training for its outstanding achievements in the process of construction and development.
The unit also received certificates of merit from the Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, the People's Committee of Quang Nam Province, the People's Committee of Kon Tum Province, and the People's Committee of Dak Lak Province for its many contributions and outstanding achievements in human resource training, contributing to the socio-economic development of provinces and cities.
On this occasion, the Minister of Education and Training awarded certificates of merit to 16 groups and 30 individuals of Danang University who have made outstanding contributions to the construction and development of Danang University. The Director of Danang University awarded certificates of merit to 12 groups and 27 individuals of Danang University in recognition of their contributions to the development of the unit.
