In the 2021-2026 term, the Association of the Elderly at all levels in Thuan Nam district effectively implemented key tasks; promoted propaganda for all classes of people, mobilized children and relatives to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; built a strong association organization. The emulation movement "Old age - Bright example" has been promoted in all areas from economic development, building cultural life, environmental protection, building new rural areas... Up to now, the Association of the Elderly in Thuan Nam district has 4,303 members, accounting for 85% of the elderly in the area. The Association has 40 branches with 81 association groups. Attention has also been paid to caring for the elderly. The whole district currently has 1,455 elderly people receiving social insurance benefits, 87% of elderly people are granted health insurance cards, 1,080 elderly people receive periodic health check-ups...

The congress elected 15 comrades to the Executive Committee for the new term and elected 5 delegates to attend the congress at a higher level.
