Voice of Vietnam is ready to cooperate with G4 countries in producing media products.

(CLO) On March 25, at the headquarters of the Voice of Vietnam (VOV), Deputy General Director Ngo Minh Hien had a meeting and worked with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Switzerland to Vietnam Thomas Gass, who is also the rotating Chairman of the G4 Ambassadors Group (including Canada, New Zealand, Norway and Switzerland).


At the meeting, VOV Deputy General Director Ngo Minh Hien said that VOV is constantly innovating and modernizing, operating 5 national radio channels, two online newspapers (VOV.VN and VTC News), and diverse digital platforms with broadcast programs in 12 foreign languages and 13 ethnic minority languages.

In addition to traditional journalism genres, VOV is also one of the leading media agencies in producing podcasts that attract a large audience in Vietnam. Developing podcasts - a future form of journalism with outstanding advantages such as convenience, diverse, in-depth, specialized and personalized content is also a development priority of VOV.

Vietnam Television is ready to cooperate with G4 countries in the production of television products.

For his part, Ambassador Thomas Gass highly appreciated the role of VOV and expressed his desire to cooperate in producing media programs in the form of podcasts on VOV's digital platform. The podcast series will focus on the support of G4 countries for Vietnam and cooperation in promoting the role of the press as an effective bridge between the Government and the people, helping to convey policy information in a transparent, close and effective manner, while creating a channel to listen to community opinions.

Continuing the Ambassador's words, VOV Deputy General Director Ngo Minh Hien affirmed that VOV always values the initiatives and contributions of the G4 group to the development of Vietnam. With a modern radio, electronic newspaper and multimedia platform, VOV is fully capable and ready to meet the long-term cooperation wishes of the G4 Ambassadors, especially in the field of producing practical and quality media products.

The meeting took place in an open and trusting atmosphere, contributing to strengthening the friendly relationship between VOV and the G4 group, while opening up many new cooperation opportunities in promoting the role of the press in promoting connections between the Government and the people.
