93 years ago, the 1930-1931 revolutionary movement in Ha Tinh began with a demonstration on August 1, 1930 by the people of Can Loc district. At Nghen intersection, on September 12, 1930, the people of Can Loc and neighboring areas rose up to fight for national liberation and held a rally to commemorate the Guangzhou Commune.
During the uprising, the enemy brutally suppressed the masses, many compatriots and comrades fought bravely until their last breath.
The Can Loc People's Uprising contributed to the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement - the peak of the revolutionary movement in the years 1930 - 1931.
