Luong Dinh Dung said that because he used to be a bad kid, he understands the feelings of children when facing expectations from adults. The male director decided to launch the Green Papaya Cinema project to create a healthy cinema playground for children, pull them away from harmful games, inspire their passion for cinema and make films from their inherent abilities.

The director shared: "I see that naughty and stubborn children sometimes have a different world view and often go against everyone's thinking. But if we know how to shape and understand them, these children will become very good and useful people.

The Green Papaya Cinema project is partly aimed at those children, because I can understand their feelings. The stories I share from myself are in the hope that they will sympathize with me, I will have the opportunity to get closer to them, inspire them to make films or do whatever they like."

Luong Dinh Dung launched the project

Luong Dinh Dung launched the project "Green Papaya Cinema" with the desire to create a cinema playground for young people.

The project started on January 20, 2024 with three main directions: Intense stories, Films of children in paradise, Sharing ideas and filmmaking to bring children closer to cinema, training children to know how to make films.
