(CLO) On October 21, the People's Army Newspaper (QĐND) coordinated with the Vinh Phuc Provincial Military Command to organize the Seminar "Diversifying forms of propaganda and mobilizing people to comply with the law" officially taking place in Vinh Yen City, Vinh Phuc Province.
The seminar "Diversifying forms of propaganda and mobilizing people to comply with the law" is an opportunity to exchange experiences and creative and effective ways to promote the role of the People's Army in disseminating and educating the law and mobilizing people to comply with the law at the grassroots level.
This will serve as a basis for promoting propaganda and replicating new models and methods in implementing the Project "Promoting the role of the People's Army in participating in the dissemination and education of law, mobilizing people to comply with the law at the grassroots level for the period 2021 - 2027" (Project 1371) on mass media inside and outside the Army.

Speaking at the seminar, Colonel Ngo Anh Thu, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the People's Army Newspaper, affirmed that in the coming years, in the face of the increasingly high requirements of building a lean, strong, modern Army and protecting and developing the country, promoting the role of the Army in effectively implementing the Law on Dissemination and Education of Law (Legal Dissemination and Education) as well as propaganda and dissemination of law for soldiers and people will become more urgent. Because LLD is a part of political and ideological education, an important and regular task of each Party committee, Party organization, agency and unit. This is also the first step in the process of forming awareness of law observance among cadres, soldiers and people.
Given the importance of this work, after the Prime Minister approved Project 1371, the Ministry of National Defense directed agencies and units to comprehensively and synchronously deploy the contents, ensuring that they are consistent with the functions, tasks and characteristics of each agency and unit. Thanks to that, the work of PBGDPL has had many positive changes, becoming increasingly systematic and routine; the awareness of law observance of officers, soldiers and people has been increasingly enhanced.
Colonel Ngo Anh Thu emphasized: “As an agency of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, the voice of the armed forces and people of Vietnam, in recent times, the People's Army Newspaper has regularly maintained special pages and columns on propaganda and legal dissemination on publications, updated legal documents, and promptly reflected propaganda and legal dissemination activities throughout the army. The People's Army Newspaper also coordinated with the Legal Department, Ministry of National Defense to organize the contest "Learning legal knowledge on the People's Army Newspaper".

The contest takes place annually, at the end of each year, a summary is conducted and awards are given to individuals and groups. With very practical content for life and the application of information technology, digital transformation, ensuring convenience and ease of participation, the contest has attracted a large number of officers, soldiers of the armed forces and people nationwide to participate, creating a very positive ripple effect...
At the seminar, many delegates said that it is very necessary to pay attention to investigating and surveying the actual situation of legal dissemination and education work and mobilizing people to comply with the law. Raising awareness of law compliance; meeting the need to learn about the law of officials and people at the grassroots level, especially in areas where ethnic minorities live, is important to the quality and results of implementing Project 1371 in recent years.
