This is the story of an anonymous man who retired in Australia in early 2020. During a picnic in the suburbs of Ballarat, Victoria, he accidentally found a strange object under the ground nearly 2m deep with the help of a metal detector. It took him more than 1 hour of digging to be able to pull it out of the soil and rocks. It turned out to be a fairly large block of pure gold.

The man was extremely surprised and said that this was the first time he had dug up such a large gold nugget. After asking an expert to appraise it, the nugget weighed 2kg, and the odds of digging up such a large pure gold nugget were very rare.

After the information was announced, many gold collectors offered to pay up to 160,000 AUD (about 2.5 billion VND) to own it. However, the man still kept it.

Since that camping trip, the man decided to spend all his free time wandering around the suburbs in the hope of finding another treasure.
