According to the announcement, the benchmark scores for 9 specialized subjects to enter Lam Son High School for the Gifted are: specialized math is 45.34; chemistry 44.1; physics 41.95; information technology 46.75 points; literature 47.4; history 47.95; geography 45.45; English 46.15. Notably, the benchmark score for entering the highest specialized subject is biology with 49.4 points.
In the 2025-2026 school year entrance exam for grade 10 at Lam Son High School for the Gifted, each candidate will take 4 subjects, including: Math, Literature, English (scored with a coefficient of 1) and 1 specialized subject (scored with a coefficient of 3); all exams are scored on a 10-point scale.
The exam is in essay format, with an additional listening test for English; the IT exam is in the form of computer programming.
In the non-specialized high schools this year, the highest admission score for the first choice is Ham Rong High School (Thanh Hoa City) with 25.15 points.
