Provincial Party Committee's 2034 Supervisory Delegation works with Thuan Nam District Party Committee

On March 28, the Supervisory Delegation under Decision No. 2034-QD/TU dated January 29, 2024 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee (referred to as the Provincial Party Standing Committee's Supervisory Delegation 2034) led by Comrade Tran Minh Luc, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, had a working session with Thuan Nam District Party Committee on the results of directing and organizing the implementation of Resolution No. 12-NQ/TU dated December 30, 2021 of the 14th Provincial Party Executive Committee on the Climate Change Adaptation Program for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050.

Attending were members of the Provincial Party Committee: Tran Minh Nam, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Chamaléa Thi Thuy, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department.

Implementing Resolution No. 12-NQ/TU, Thuan Nam District Party Committee has organized the study, dissemination, propaganda and dissemination of the resolution's contents in a timely manner; proactively developed and issued Resolution No. 12-NQ/HU dated February 24, 2029 on restructuring the agricultural sector in association with climate change response for the period 2020-2025 and vision to 2030. Coordinated with all levels and sectors to complete and build a database system on hydrometeorology to gradually improve the ability to adapt to production in the new situation; built 12 agricultural production models in the direction of applying high technology associated with product consumption linkage, creating changes in scale, productivity, quality, efficiency and increasing the competitiveness of agricultural products...

Comrade Tran Minh Luc, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council spoke at the working session with Thuan Nam District Party Committee.

Speaking at the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested the Thuan Nam District Party Committee to focus on directing the promotion of learning, dissemination and propaganda on climate change to raise people's awareness; review local land use plans and planning in sync with the province's general planning; review the targets in Resolution No. 12-NQ/TU to effectively implement the targets; perfect mechanisms and policies to mobilize resources to implement solutions to adapt to climate change...
