In the end, the Vietnamese shooter won the silver medal with a total score of 571, 6 points behind the gold medalist Putra of Indonesia.

Speaking after winning the silver medal, shooter Ngo Huu Vuong shared: "I am very happy to win the silver medal at this ASIAD.

In the previous two terms, I only won a bronze medal, so this time I consider it a new step forward, contributing to the achievements of the Vietnamese sports delegation."

Meanwhile, in charge of shooting, Department of Sports and Physical Training, Ms. Vu Thi Anh Dao said: "The silver medal that Vuong achieved today is the foundation, the springboard for Vietnamese shooters to compete well tomorrow."

Ngo Huu Vuong was born in 1989. Since childhood, he has been fascinated by shooting because his sister is a shooter, Ngo Thi Anh Tho.

After following his sister to the shooting range, his love for shooting grew, even though his family did not expect it.

At the age of 14, Vuong officially started practicing shooting. Although he looks shy and scholarly, he possesses concentration and a strong competitive mentality.

In early 2009, when he was not yet 20 years old, Ngo Huu Vuong was first called to the national shooting team and since then he has always been considered a pillar of the team.

At the 18th ASIAD, Ngo Huu Vuong also won a bronze medal in the individual 10m mobile target rifle event.

On the morning of September 25, Rowing brought home two more bronze medals for the Vietnamese Sports Delegation in the 4 women's heavyweight 1 oar category and the 8 women's heavyweight 1 oar category.

Thus, up to now, the Vietnamese Sports Delegation has won a total of 5 medals at the 19th ASIAD, including 4 bronze medals and 1 silver medal.

In the mixed team event, Bac Thi Khiem, Pham Ngoc Cham, Ly Hong Phuc, and Pham Minh Bao Kha defeated the Philippines in the quarterfinals with a score of 35-26 to reach the semi-finals.

Therefore, Vietnamese taekwondo team has at least one more bronze medal. In the semi-finals, the Vietnamese taekwondo team will meet host China.
