This is a large-scale General Census with a wide scope of investigation; the results of the survey aim to serve the compilation of relevant statistical indicators of the National Statistical Indicator System; compile socio -economic indicators to serve the assessment of the current situation, analysis of changing trends, development of plans and strategies for rural development and improvement of rural living standards; serve the research and assessment of the scale and structure of rural labor and agricultural, forestry and fishery labor; changes in rural infrastructure; the implementation of some contents of national programs and targets in the fields of rural areas, agriculture, forestry and fishery, etc.

To successfully organize and implement the General Census, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Provincial Statistics Office - the Standing Office of the Steering Committee for the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census of Dak Lak province to prepare conditions for the successful implementation of the General Census. Preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to proactively develop a plan to implement the General Census plan in accordance with the content and requirements; ensure the uniform organization of the simultaneous implementation of the General Census according to the plan. Closely inspect and monitor the procedures of the General Census; regularly report the progress of the census to the Central Steering Committee and the Provincial People's Committee.
Departments and branches are responsible for coordinating with the Provincial Statistics to provide information related to the content of the General Census in order to complete the General Census work as required. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism shall direct and guide press and media agencies to strengthen propaganda about the policies, purposes, requirements, significance and content of the General Census so that people understand and voluntarily provide information that is complete and accurate.
The People's Committees of communes and wards shall strengthen the Steering Committee for the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census in their localities; strengthen the direction of the Census in the localities according to the guidance of the Central Steering Committee and the Provincial Steering Committee. At the same time, inspect and supervise throughout the time when the enumerators interview households.
The Provincial People's Committee also requested the Provincial Farmers' Association, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Vietnam Women's Union, and the Provincial Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to coordinate with the People's Committees at the same level to propagate to cadres, union members, and members to actively participate in and respond to the General Census.
Enterprises and cooperatives participating in agricultural, forestry and fishery activities, farm owners and households in the province are responsible for providing complete, accurate and timely information in the survey form as prescribed.
