Unique iPhone Vision concept with dual screen

Báo Thanh niênBáo Thanh niên17/07/2023

According to BGR , the iPhone Vision concept that designer De Rosa has come up with is not a folding screen model, but it is directly linked to the Vision Pro "space computer" that Apple recently announced. It also brings a look that is reminiscent of the combination of the original iPhone and the iPhone X, which is worth Apple's attention when the company wants to create a more innovative product in the future.

iPhone Vision is based on the imagination of Antonio De Rosa

The iPhone Vision features an all-screen design with “waterfall” curved edges. The curved edges are probably the worst part, as a phone with curved edges is more susceptible to accidental damage. However, the symmetrical curvature of the front and back should make it easier to hold than real-life iPhones with flat sides.

What's more interesting is that the Liquid Lens camera on the back is used to replace the main and ultra-wide cameras. The idea is to also include a secondary periscope lens for better zoom.

There are two other unique design elements on the back. First, the secondary display provides quick access to notifications when the phone is face down on a table—a handy feature for many users, especially since the camera bump is protruding. Second, the designers placed an extra ridge at the bottom of the back to balance the top, allowing the iPhone to lay flatter when lying face up, and it also doubles as a spatial audio feature.

The designer envisions the phone running on the same chips as the Vision Pro's spatial computer: the M2 and the R1, with the R1 handling all the sensor inputs on the Vision Pro and probably not needed on the iPhone. But if the Liquid Lens lets users take 3D photos and videos like the Vision, the device might need the R1 chip. As for the M2, it might not be as efficient on the iPhone's battery.

Other details of the iPhone Vision include USB-C connectivity and 30W MagSafe charging. Additionally, the phone appears to have solid-state buttons and the power button has been moved to the top of the display. Finally, there is no SIM card on the phone as Apple has switched to eSIM.

The designer also envisions a price for the iPhone Vision. The phone would start at $1,599, which is more expensive than the expected starting price of $1,299 for the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Apple is said to be working on a high-end iPhone called the iPhone Ultra in the future, and the iPhone Vision concept seems to be that product.
