Recalling the unforgettable match against the German team, goalkeeper Kim Thanh said: " Facing a tall opponent, I was very nervous at first. The match had only started for about 2 minutes but I had to concede the first goal. I thought I would probably concede many more goals."
The Vietnamese team conceded a goal in the third minute of the friendly match against the German team. This made many viewers think of a heavy defeat for coach Mai Duc Chung and his team. However, the performance of the Vietnamese team afterwards caused a big surprise.

"The whole team tried very hard, were united and confident, so the more we played, the more excited we felt. The defense of the Vietnamese women's team yesterday was very resilient and determined," said goalkeeper Kim Thanh.
The Vietnamese team defended well against the team ranked second in the FIFA rankings. It was not until the 80th minute that the German players scored the second goal against the Vietnamese team. Then, Nguyen Thi Thanh Nha impressed with a goal to reduce the score, bringing joy to the fans.
After the friendly match with Germany, the Vietnamese team returned to the training ground to maintain their training condition. Although the weather was sunnier and hotter than the previous training sessions, the players still tried their best to complete the endurance and coordination exercises set by the coaching staff.
Tomorrow, the Vietnamese team will leave Frankfurt for Hanoi , ending their training trip in Germany.
