On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024), Meritorious Artist Huong Giang - Vocal Lecturer at the Military University of Culture and Arts - has carried out a special music project called "Forever the Military March".

This project includes nearly 20 famous songs, including works associated with important historical events of the nation such as "Tien Quan Ca", "Co Gai Mot Duong", "Tu Van", "Doan Ve Quoc Quan" and many other revolutionary songs.

Meritorious Artist Huong Giang said: "This project is not only a tribute to the generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, but also a strong message to the younger generation: They need to better understand the past, the great sacrifices that their fathers and brothers made for the country, and at the same time foster patriotism and national pride."

The project is a passion with many messages sent to the young generation by Meritorious Artist Huong Giang.

The songs in "Vang mai khuc quan hanh" performed by Meritorious Artist Huong Giang not only demonstrate the mighty spirit of the army but also arouse love for the country, the noble sacrifices of previous generations and encourage younger generations to continue building and defending the Fatherland.

One of the special features of the project is the renewal of traditional songs through modern arrangements and creative performance styles. The heroic and powerful melodies of revolutionary songs will be expressed through new, youthful sounds, in line with modern music trends, easily accessible to the young audience generation, while still maintaining the identity and ideological values associated with the heroic history of the nation.

Through "Forever the military march", Meritorious Artist Huong Giang wants to create a musical space that connects generations in society, especially between those who lived through the war and today's young generation.

This is a precious opportunity for the younger generation to understand and appreciate more the values that our ancestors sacrificed to have a peaceful and free life, while strengthening patriotism and national pride in the hearts of every Vietnamese person.
