Tourists flock to check-in at the largest hawthorn flower forest in Vietnam

Tourists from all over are flocking to Muong La (Son La) to admire the beauty of the largest hawthorn flower forest in Vietnam and take souvenir photos.

Nam Nghep Village (Ngoc Chien Commune, Muong La District, Son La Province) is about 300km from Hanoi , known as the capital of hawthorn flowers with many hundreds of years old trees.

This place currently grows more than 2,600 hectares of hawthorn trees (also known as cat apples), of which more than 1,400 hectares have flowers and fruits; it has set a record as the largest hawthorn forest in Vietnam.

Hawthorn flowers have 5 petals, yellow pistils, and bloom in clusters that hug the rustic tree branches.

This tree is known as the "miracle drug" of the mountains and forests. It brings prosperity to people thanks to the fruit harvest and the service of renting a garden to camp and check-in with hawthorn flowers.

Every March, the capital of hawthorn flowers in Ngoc Chien commune, Muong La district, Son La province is flooded with pure white, becoming a fairyland scene. This place becomes a place that attracts thousands of tourists to visit and take pictures every day.

Ms. Mai, a tourist from Hanoi, said that this was the first time she and her family had seen and taken photos with hawthorn flowers. "Walking through the pure white hawthorn flower forest in the Northwest, I felt like I was lost in a dreamy paradise. The hawthorn flowers blooming white in the sky create a pure beauty, and the gentle fragrance of nature awakens all the deep emotions in the soul," Ms. Mai shared.

Ms. Ngoc Anh (from Thai Binh) has a different feeling: "The hawthorn flower is not as pure white as plum or apricot blossoms, but it is ivory yellow like the color of the earth."

"I was really overwhelmed by the scene of the hawthorn forest blooming and captivating people. The people here are very warm and hospitable," a female tourist shared.

The pure white, fragile hawthorn flowers bloom on the skinny branches, competing with each other in color, blending into the green of the towering hills.

The ethereal beauty of the blooming hawthorn forest brings visitors a sense of peace and tranquility, temporarily escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
