On the morning of July 19, information from Hung Vuong General Hospital ( Phu Tho ) said that doctors had treated a man in the area who was electrocuted and severely burned.

The patient's family said that because the victim was working at home and saw the power line entangled, he used an aluminum stick to push it away from the work area. Immediately, the victim was electrocuted by the high-voltage line.

Immediately afterwards, the hospital's 115 emergency doctors quickly arrived at the scene. At this time, the patient was in a state of agony, with severe burns on his right hand, both legs, and feet due to electric shock. The doctors quickly provided first aid, established an IV line, and transferred the patient to the clinic. The patient was given pain relief, anti-shock treatment, and bandaged for the burn. Currently, the patient's health is stable.

According to doctors, patients with burns caused by high voltage electricity have a high rate of disability, long hospital stays, and often leave ugly scars due to multiple surgeries. Patients face the risk of necrosis, infection, and poisoning.

From the above case, doctors recommend that people should pay special attention when working and moving in areas with power grids, power stations, high-voltage power lines, especially during the rainy and stormy season, to avoid unfortunate incidents.
