Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has announced the 2024 Da Lat Flower Festival program taking place in nearly the last month of the year, with many tourism stimulus contents.
On October 29, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee held a press conference to announce the contents Dalat Flower Festival 2024 theme "Da Lat Flowers - Symphony of colors".
This is the 10th flower festival, scheduled to officially open on December 5 and close on New Year's Eve, December 31, 2024.
The entire festival is expected to cost more than 60 billion VND, the main funding source is from sponsorship. The content of the program is built on the spirit of honoring flowers and music . These are the two major materials that make up the festival. Dalat tourism.
Mr. Pham S - Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee - said that this year's festival will be longer so that tourists and locals have more time to experience the activities of the Da Lat Flower Festival. According to the announcement of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, at Da Lat Flower Festival 2024, there will be flower spaces in public areas for 1 month, from December 5, 2024 to January 5, 2025, serving people and tourists on the occasion. New Year's Day 2025.
Flower space is open all around Xuan Huong Lake, public parks (Yersin, Tran Hung Dao...), along Nguyen Van Cu, Le Dai Hanh, Tran Quoc Toan streets.
South of Xuan Huong Lake will be a unique and attractive flower space managed by the Dalat Flower Association, with an area of about 1,000m2 , including a combination of outdoor flower space and LED lighting system at night.
Traditional flower villages such as Ha Dong, Van Thanh, and Thai Phien organize outdoor flower spaces to create highlights to welcome visitors.
On the nights of December 6 and 7, city Da Lat will organize street art performances, parades of cars decorated with fresh flowers with themes related to the city of flowers, music and national unity.

From December 5 to December 15, at Tran Quoc Toan Park (Ward 10, Da Lat), the program "Da Lat vegetable and flower market - a miraculous crystallization from the good land" will take place, with the participation of 124 booths displaying a variety of typical agricultural products, strengths of Da Lat. city Dalat
At the program, visitors will enjoy free Da Lat agricultural products and receive flower arrangement instructions from famous artisans. Included in the program is the 2024 Da Lat Street Beer Festival, with the participation of many beer companies nationwide.
December 4 marks the 5th anniversary of the establishment of sister city relations between Da Lat (Vietnam) and Chuncheon (Korea). Da Lat will organize a cultural exchange art performance program between Da Lat and Chuncheon. Artists from Da Lat and Chuncheon will exchange and perform art performances to promote the culture of each locality and country.
