Specifically, of the total number of candidates taking the exam, 5,894 candidates took the car test and 5,809 candidates took the motorcycle test. In addition to testing and issuing new driving licenses, the Traffic Police Department and the police of communes and wards in the province also received and processed nearly 20,000 applications for issuing and reissuing driving licenses of all kinds for citizens.

Currently, Dak Lak province has 18 car and motorbike driving training facilities, including 13 facilities in Dak Lak (old) and 5 facilities from Phu Yen (old) province. With this number of training facilities, Dak Lak is meeting the increasing demand for learning and taking driving license exams of the people in recent years.
It is known that from March 1, 2025, the testing, issuance and exchange of driving licenses have been transferred from the Ministry of Transport (now the Ministry of Construction) to the Ministry of Public Security . This transfer of tasks is expected to continue to improve the quality and transparency of driving license issuance nationwide, including Dak Lak province.
