Gia Lai: Evaluation and classification of 23 provincial OCOP products

(GLO)- On December 26, the Provincial OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council organized the evaluation and classification of 23 OCOP products in the second phase of 2024 of 8 entities in Dak Doa, Chu Puh, Ia Grai, Mang Yang districts and Ayun Pa town.

Attending were leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of districts and subjects with products participating in OCOP phase II-2024.

During the 2 days (December 26 and 27, 2024), in addition to the 6 products that have been recognized with 4 stars from previous years, including: Dak Yang Coffee, Fine Robusta Coffee, Le Chi Organic Red Pepper, Le Chi Organic Black Pepper, Le Chi Organic White Pepper (Nam Yang Agricultural and Service Cooperative, Dak Doa District) and Frozen Passion Fruit Pulp (Hung Thom Gia Lai Agricultural and Service Cooperative, Mang Yang District) participating in the re-evaluation and recognition, the Provincial Evaluation and Classification Council will focus on evaluating and classifying 17 new OCOP products with great potential to achieve 4-star OCOP at the provincial level.

According to the New Rural Area Coordination Office, Gia Lai province currently has 430 OCOP-recognized products, including 67 4-star products and 363 3-star products...
