Ri6 durian price increased slightly in many localities
In the Southwest, the price of Ri6 durian type A ranges from 38,000-40,000 VND/kg; type B from 28,000-30,000 VND/kg; type C from 20,000-26,000 VND/kg. Thai durian type A remains at 74,000-76,000 VND/kg, VIP A type reaches 85,000 VND/kg.
In the Southeast, Ri6 durian grade A slightly increased to 40,000-42,000 VND/kg. Thai durian grade A reached 75,000-78,000 VND/kg, VIP A still maintained the peak of 85,000 VND/kg.
The Central Highlands recorded Ri6 type A prices from 40,000-42,000 VND/kg; Thai VIP A durian was the highest at 90,000 VND/kg. Musang King durian fluctuated from 55,000-60,000 VND/kg, however, quality was affected by the weather.
Durian prices stable in key regions
In Dong Nai, Binh Phuoc , Gia Lai and Tay Ninh, durian prices generally did not fluctuate much. Ri6 type A was stable at around 40,000-42,000 VND/kg; Thai durian type A was from 75,000-78,000 VND/kg. Some localities such as Dak Lak recorded a slight increase in Ri6 prices to 44,000 VND/kg.
Meanwhile, the Mekong Delta has almost finished the main crop, low output has caused the price of low-grade Ri6 durian to drop to only 25,000 VND/kg in some places.

Exports recover, growers prepare for new crop
According to the General Department of Customs, fruit and vegetable export turnover in June increased by more than 30% compared to the previous month, of which durian contributed about 360 million USD - an increase of 70% compared to May. This is a positive sign of recovery after a period of stagnation, helping gardeners feel secure in caring for and investing in the next crop.
In Can Tho – home to more than 12,900 hectares of durian, farmers are speeding up the care of their gardens, expecting stable prices as exports continue to flourish.
