The Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports requested the People's Committees of communes and wards, the Thang Long-Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center, the Management Board of the Temple of Literature, Hanoi Monuments and Landscapes, Hoa Lo Prison and related units to proactively review and inspect the power supply system and reinforce items at risk of damage or collapse.

In particular, all recreational, entertainment and tourism activities at historical sites and scenic spots must be temporarily suspended during flood warnings to ensure absolute safety for residents and visitors.

For degraded relics, near rivers, lakes, or under restoration, units need to have plans to prevent flooding, protect artifacts, worship objects and important documents by moving them to a safe place when necessary. Relics that have been demolished or are under construction must also have effective protection measures to avoid damage caused by storms and floods.

The Department also requested to strengthen environmental sanitation work, ensure the landscape of relics is always green - clean - beautiful; maintain security and order, stabilize religious activities and beliefs at relics during the rainy and stormy season.

Fire prevention, rescue, preservation and restoration of relics are emphasized to be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Cultural Heritage and current regulations.

The proactive response to storm No. 3 this time demonstrates the sense of responsibility of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports in protecting cultural and historical heritage and ensuring safety for the community.
