After announcing the exam scores, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will meet to approve the admission scores for grade 10 of public high schools for the 2024-2025 school year.

In the 2024-2025 school year, nearly 106,000 candidates in Hanoi registered for the 10th grade entrance exam to public high schools, more than 11,000 candidates registered for specialized subjects, and more than 250 candidates took the dual diploma exam.
The whole city has about 133,000 junior high school graduates, with nearly 106,000 students registering for the entrance exam to grade 10 of public high schools in the city. However, the enrollment target for grade 10 of public high schools in Hanoi is only over 81,200 students.
According to the plan, by July 2 at the latest, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will announce the exam scores of candidates. Candidates can apply for re-evaluation from July 3-9.
On July 5, the Department of Education and Training will hold a meeting to review the admission scores for grade 10 of non-specialized public high schools and specialized high schools. The admission scores will be announced immediately afterwards.
Admitted students will confirm their admission to the school (online or in person) from July 10 to July 12, submit their admission application to the high school, and the high school will recruit additional students to meet the quota (if any) from July 19 to July 22./.
