Assistant coach Le Duc Tuan spoke before the match against Wuhan Three Towns, round 4 of Group J, AFC Champions League 2023/2024: "Hanoi FC is actively preparing for the match against Wuhan Three Towns.

In the last three matches, Hanoi had bad results but the second match ahead is at home so we are focused. The goal is to give a good match to the audience.

We have lost 3 matches and the goal of reaching the next round is no longer there. The upcoming V-League has a dense match schedule so Hanoi FC has to rotate players and use them most reasonably.

In the registration list of Hanoi FC, the number of players is relatively limited, so the team has a combination of young players and key players. The team has many quality players and always enters the field with the spirit of a final match in the upcoming matches."

Coach Duc Tuan said that Hanoi FC will make adjustments in personnel and playing style: "The squad is very thin due to Marcao's injury and Van Nam's red card, so the defense needs to rotate. We also need to use youth to fill the gaps. The coaching staff will choose suitable players for the match.

Up front, Tague is a good striker who scores many goals, but we also have options. The team still has quality foreign players to combine with domestic players to bring the best results.

At Hanoi FC, there are also good domestic strikers such as Tuan Hai and Van Tung who have also been called up to the national team by coach Troussier. Such factors help Hanoi FC hope to score goals or make a difference in the match against Wuhan Three Towns."

Despite losing 3 matches in the continental arena, the coach of Hanoi FC declared that he would not give up on the AFC Champions League: "The team's leaders assigned targets and dedication in the AFC Champions League as well as the V-League. Even if we are eliminated from the group stage, we still have to dedicate our best professional matches."

The match between Hanoi FC and Wuhan Three Towns takes place at 7:00 p.m. on November 8 at My Dinh Stadium.
