Hanoi FC is considering parting ways with Brandon Wilson in the mid-season transfer window. This is surprising news because the Australian player has been a regular for the capital club in recent times.

Brandon Wilson played 12 out of 16 matches for Hanoi FC this season. His preferred position is defensive midfielder. The Australian foreign player is strong in his ability to distribute the ball and control the tempo of the game.

Wilson was trained in the youth team of Burnley FC (a team currently playing in the Premier League) and played in youth tournaments in England for 3 years. In 2016, Wilson returned to his hometown to play for Perth Glory. Before coming to Hanoi FC, the midfielder born in 1997 played for Da Nang FC in the second phase of the 2023 season.

Besides considering parting ways with Brandon Wilson, Hanoi FC is also considering bringing in a Japanese player. Currently, Hanoi FC's registration list with VPF includes 4 foreign players: Brandon Wilson, Denilson Junior, Marcao and Joel Tagueu. Of these, Marcao has had his contract terminated due to continuous injuries despite his good skills.

In the mid-season transfer period, Hanoi FC has just officially signed a player, Ryan Ha - a French midfielder of Vietnamese origin who played for Binh Duong in the early stages of the season. Previously, Ryan Ha played for Khanh Hoa Club. He played 17 matches, scored 2 goals and assisted 2 times, contributing to the coastal city team's relegation race.

Hanoi FC has had a turbulent season. Mr. Daiki Iwamasa is the fourth head coach of the capital team when the V.League has only been going on for 10 rounds. Hanoi FC has only won 4 matches, drawn 1 match and lost 5 matches, ranking 8th on the rankings.

In round 11 of V.League 2023/24, Hanoi FC will be a guest at Thien Truong Stadium of Nam Dinh Club.
