On June 26, the Minister of Agriculture and Environment decided to approve the results of the evaluation and classification of products of the National One Commune One Product Program in 2025 (phase 1).
There are 7 products of Hai Duong province out of 47 products nationwide that have achieved the title of national OCOP product (5-star OCOP product).
These are the products: jade drop vase, blue flower vase, prosperity vase, swan vase, pipa vase of Chu Dau Ceramic Joint Stock Company (Nam Sach); Royal Golden Dragon green tea bean cake and Royal Golden Dragon durian bean cake of Hoang Giang Joint Stock Company (Hai Duong City).
The day before, the Central Council for Evaluation and Classification of OCOP Products in 2025 met, evaluated and classified 82 products from 20 provinces and cities that registered for evaluation and classification of 5-star OCOP products in 4 groups: food, handicrafts, medicinal herbs and tourism .
As a result, 47 products from 15 provinces and cities met all 5-star OCOP product standards. Of these, all 7 products registered by Hai Duong province met the standards.
Previously, in 2024, Hoang Giang Joint Stock Company's Golden Dragon Bean Cake product was recognized as the first 5-star OCOP product of Hai Duong province.
Nationwide, there are currently 126 5-star OCOP products, of which Hai Duong has 8 products.
