At the regular meeting of the Provincial People's Committee in March (4th time) chaired by Mr. Tran Van Quan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs reported to request investment policy to repair some items of the Hai Hung martyrs' cemetery at Truong Son Martyrs' Cemetery and Road 9 Martyrs' Cemetery in Quang Tri province.
Regarding this content, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban requested the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to have a clear and complete report specifically assessing the current status of the martyrs' graves at the two cemeteries, and the socialized funding source to serve this project. The Department needs to soon complete the report so that the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee can report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to issue a resolution to promptly implement the project; it is necessary to coordinate with Hung Yen and Quang Tri provinces to unify the method of implementation, design according to the planning...
In his concluding remarks, Mr. Tran Van Quan, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the working session and agreed with the proposal of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs. At the same time, the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Hai Duong was assigned to coordinate with the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Hung Yen province to act as the focal point, representing the two provinces to advise on relevant documents during the implementation process; establish a Working Group to coordinate with the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of Hung Yen province, and the management units of the two cemeteries in Quang Tri province to monitor, guide, support administrative procedures, supervise the implementation and organization of construction and repair, ensuring accuracy, quality, progress and following the instructions of Quang Tri province.
According to the report of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, at the Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery, the items that need to be done include: repainting the entire stele house, repairing and replacing broken railings, cleaning all the tiles in the stele house; covering the entire tomb shell, repainting all the tombstones, replacing the damaged ones, adding the corresponding current place names on some of the tombstones of 786 graves; cleaning the entire yard, repainting the entire fence. At the National Martyrs' Cemetery on Road 9, similar work is also being done on 240 graves... The total estimated investment of the project is 3.6 billion VND. The capital and implementation are provided by Hoa Phat Hai Duong Steel Joint Stock Company and An Phat 1 High-Tech Industrial Park Joint Stock Company.
