Specifically, the Hanoi Department of Transport said that due to the impact of storm No. 3 (storm Yagi ), the provinces and cities in the northern region continued to experience heavy rain, hydroelectric plants had to discharge flood water, causing the water level in rivers in Hanoi to rise, causing flooding on Highway 70, through Phuc La ward and the Phuc La - Cau Buu intersection, Ha Dong district.

Accordingly, from today (September 11), traffic on Route 70, the section passing through the People's Committee of Phuc La Ward and the Phuc La - Cau Buu intersection, Ha Dong District, Hanoi City, will be restricted. "The Department of Transport informs vehicles to proactively choose appropriate travel routes, ensuring traffic safety and minimizing traffic congestion," the announcement of the Hanoi Department of Transport stated.
The Department of Transport requested the Hanoi Traffic Police Department to arrange forces to guide traffic flow for vehicles to ensure traffic safety, avoid traffic congestion, and increase inspection and handling of violations of traffic safety and order on the route and nearby intersections.
Based on the flood situation, arrange forces to coordinate with the Department of Transport Inspectorate to ensure traffic safety, guide traffic flow and regulate traffic at flooded areas on Highway 70; Monitor and evaluate traffic situation on the route and area to promptly detect problems and propose appropriate traffic organization adjustment plans.
