These workers signed labor contracts at the facilities of Mr. Le Van Vui and Mr. Ta Phuoc before the announcement of land recovery for the Project to repair and upgrade the storm shelter anchorage area for An Hoa fishing boats.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the People's Committee of Nui Thanh district to be responsible for directing relevant departments of the district to coordinate with the organization to carry out the tasks of compensation, support and resettlement; the People's Committee of Tam Quang commune to correctly identify the subjects receiving support and establish procedures to approve the plan to support the stabilization of life for workers who have signed labor contracts with Mr. Le Van Vui and Mr. Ta Phuoc, and promptly pay support money to workers in accordance with regulations.
It is known that the investment project to construct and repair the storm shelter for fishing boats in An Hoa was approved by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 1624 dated May 31, 2019; the Provincial Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects for Agricultural and Rural Development Works is the investor.
The Provincial People's Committee has made many adjustments and supplements, and on January 12, 2023, the Provincial People's Committee approved Decision No. 105 to adjust and supplement the project due to additional compensation costs, site clearance and implementation time with a total investment after adjustment and supplementation of more than 104 billion VND and the project implementation time extended to 2026.
