In episode 5 of Miss Universe Vietnam 2024 aired on the evening of September 8, 29 contestants competed in swimsuits and evening gowns. Unlike previous rounds, Ky Duyen shined with her energetic curly hair, confidently strutting in a white bikini that accentuated her toned body. In the evening gown competition, she was graceful and seductive in a red dress with a bold slit and bustier. The audience assessed that Miss Vietnam 2014 had improved and was more confident in this challenge.

Vu Thuy Quynh opened both competitions with confidence and energy in a bikini and charm and elegance in the evening gown performance. Paris Bao Nhi is considered an outstanding contestant, increasingly shining, suitable for the Miss Universe standards.

Quynh Anh made a strong impression when she convinced the judges with her hot curly hair in the bikini competition and a see-through red evening gown with high slits, showing off her long legs. Although it was her first time participating in a beauty contest, Quach Tapiau Mai Ly (Mlee) made an impressive breakthrough, showing off her attractive body in both competitions.

In the end, Miss Ky Duyen, Quach Tapiau Mai Ly, Tra My, Doan Tuong Linh, and Quynh Anh were in the top 5 contestants with the best performances. Quach Tapiau Mai Ly was the winner of episode 5 of Miss Universe Vietnam 2024.
With 5 episodes aired, the contestants who won each challenge include: Nguyen Quynh Anh (Episode 1 - Image Round ), Doan Thi Thu Ha (Episode 2 - Independence Round ), Dinh Thi Trieu Tien (Episode 3 - Intelligence Round ), Vu Thuy Quynh and Do Thu Ha (Episode 4 - Inspiration Round ) and Quach Tapiau Maily (Episode 5 - Influencing Beauty ). Thus, Miss Vietnam 2014 Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen has not won any challenge.
