Today (December 11), the Vietnamese women's volleyball team began their journey to Hangzhou, China to prepare for the 2023 World Club Championship (taking place from December 13 to 17). The team led by coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet will be missing many key players in this important tournament.
Accordingly, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh, considered the two most outstanding names of Vietnamese women's volleyball at the moment, cannot participate. Thanh Thuy cannot return to wear the Sport Center 1 shirt because she is busy serving the PFU Blue Cats Club in Japan. While Kieu Trinh is expected to replace "4T" as the main attacker of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team, she cannot play because she has not recovered from her injury.
Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh did not recover from her injury in time.

Besides Thanh Thuy, who has already affirmed her class, Kieu Trinh is a face who has played very well and shined brightly in the Vietnam women's volleyball team in 2023. The 2001-born spiker is the "scoring machine" of the team led by coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet, second only to Thanh Thuy.
However, after the national championship, since rejoining the Vietnam women's volleyball team (late November), Kieu Trinh was injured and could not participate in friendly matches. The volleyball beauty from Quang Binh still traveled to China with the team, but could not compete.
Kieu Trinh and her teammates started moving to China from the morning of December 11.

Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his students will have to face very strong opponents at the 2023 World Club Championship. According to the draw results, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team, called Sport Center 1 Club, is in the same group with VakifBank SK (Türkiye) and Dentil Praia Clube (Brazil).
