" I feel really disappointed. We almost controlled the game but a minute of lack of concentration cost the team. This is a lesson and we have to learn from it ," Mr. Nasir assessed the match.

Meanwhile, U23 Guam coach Dominic Gadia said: " I want to share that this is not an easy thing when U23 Singapore has to play 2 consecutive matches at 4pm. We have worked hard and got results today. I want the players to understand that even though the team lost first and thought about losing, if the players try and make an effort, they can still get good results ."
This is the first time U23 Guam has participated in the U23 Asian qualifiers. The football country ranked 203rd in the FIFA rankings is not expected to have much. Therefore, 1 point in this match is a great achievement for coach Dominic Gadia and his team.
" Before this match, my team had a meeting. We told each other that we need to have faith to win and score goals. This score is great but we hope to win in the future and need to work harder to achieve that, " said coach Gadia.
In the final round, U23 Singapore will face U23 Vietnam. U23 Guam will face U23 Yemen. These two matches will take place on September 12.
