On April 5, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training organized a STEM Education Festival with the theme "Green City". The festival gathered hundreds of creative STEM products (integrating interdisciplinary knowledge of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) and creative products and STEM lessons made by students and teachers of Thu Duc City and districts.

A group of students from grade 5/5 of Nguyen Van Troi Primary School (District 4) brought a research product using solar energy for traffic lights. Student Pham Quang Nhat, one of the three members of the group, shared: "With the theme of Green City, we chose to learn, research and create products applying scientific knowledge in grade 5 under the guidance of teachers. We are really happy because we can both learn and apply knowledge to make products. In addition, there is an awareness of protecting and joining hands with everyone to protect the environment and protect our city."
Ms. Dao Thi Lan, a teacher at Nguyen Truc Primary School (District 8), brought students to visit and experience. "Students who come here can experience and see their friends making products, which will motivate them to learn and apply, and have a passion for practical scientific research," Ms. Lan said.

From there, they can develop skills, thinking, encourage the spirit of learning and discovery to gradually master science and technology right from primary school, contributing to the development of the movement of learning, applying information technology, developing young human resources to meet the requirements of industrialization and modernization of the country.
