The meeting of the Executive Committee of the Nam Dinh Football Supporters Association, chaired by Mr. Nguyen Van Quan (head of the association's communications department). At the meeting, all 27 participants agreed to dissolve and stop all cheering activities on the field. In addition, the meeting participants issued an announcement:

"The Nam Dinh Football Supporters' Association will not be involved in the football support activities of other members. The Association will hand over its office at Thien Truong Stadium to the Stadium Management Board, and will not keep the fanpage name Nam Dinh Football Supporters' Association, but will change it to "Nam Dinh Football Past and Present".

Everything started from Nam Dinh's 1-2 loss to Cong An Ha Noi on August 2 at Thien Truong Stadium, a match in which the home fans were unhappy with Nam Dinh's players not playing to their full potential. In addition, in the starting lineup, Nam Dinh unexpectedly did not have the presence of many key players, they replaced 8 players and it was explained that they were injured.

Thien Truong Stadium is considered one of the "hot spots" of football fields in Vietnam.

At the end of the match, the fans in the stands reacted quite strongly to the home team's attitude, especially after the penalty situation. The cheering drum was thrown onto the field and the next day, the representative of the Supporters' Association brought the cheering shirts back to the club office.

This can be seen as a fierce and strong reaction from football fans in Thanh Nam, who once turned Thien Truong Stadium into the “hotbed” of Vietnamese football, and accompanied the team during the club’s most difficult times. It is because of that fierce love for football that they feel hurt when Nam Dinh FC this season has had inconsistent performance, not as expected.
