Conference agreed on the plan to merge Binh Dinh Newspaper and Gia Lai Newspaper

(GLO)- On the morning of June 15, at the headquarters of Gia Lai Newspaper (Pleiku City, Gia Lai Province), the Editorial Board of Binh Dinh Newspaper and the Editorial Board of Gia Lai Newspaper held a conference to agree on the plan to merge Binh Dinh Newspaper and Gia Lai Newspaper.

The conference was co-chaired by comrade Ho Xuan Anh - Provincial Party Committee member, Editor-in-Chief of Binh Dinh Newspaper and comrade Huynh Kien - Editor-in-Chief of Gia Lai Newspaper.

Implementing the direction of the Standing Committee of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee on the merger of Binh Dinh Newspaper and Gia Lai Newspaper, at the conference, the Editorial Board of Binh Dinh Newspaper and the Editorial Board of Gia Lai Newspaper exchanged, discussed and agreed on key contents, such as: merger project, plan to arrange internal organization as well as issues related to personnel, assets, facilities, accommodation, and working places of cadres, civil servants, and employees... after the merger.

Faced with the requirements of progress, the Editorial Boards of the two agencies have promoted a high sense of responsibility, promptly implemented steps in accordance with the Party's orientation and policies and in accordance with reality. The goal is to ensure that after the merger, the (new) Gia Lai Newspaper operates stably, in accordance with its principles and purposes, and successfully completes its assigned functions and tasks.
