This is the second time in 2024 that the Italian cruise ship Costa Serena, famous for its journeys in Asia, will bring guests to Ha Long City on the Hong Kong - Ha Long route and vice versa.
The Costa Serena cruise ship brought 3,040 tourists from Hong Kong, China to Ha Long International Passenger Port on the morning of October 18.
Welcoming the ship, travel agencies and Ha Long International Passenger Port organized to welcome, introduce and promote to tourists special sightseeing and tourism activities in Quang Ninh .
Accordingly, the tourist group will have an exciting experience at the World Heritage - Natural Wonder of Ha Long Bay, visit Quang Ninh Museum, City tour to experience culture, cuisine and many other tourist attractions in Ha Long City.

It is known that on October 21, the Viking Orion ship will also bring more than 1,000 European guests to Quang Ninh, marking the milestone of Quang Ninh welcoming 3 million international visitors in a year, completing the plan set for 2024 of this locality.
That also proves the rapid recovery efforts of Quang Ninh tourism despite being severely damaged by Typhoon Yagi and proves the attractiveness of Ha Long Bay to international tourists.
According to information from the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism, in 2024, this locality welcomed 42 international cruise ships, bringing more than 50,000 visitors of many nationalities to Ha Long City.
It is expected that in the last months of this year, there will be about 13 cruise ships expected to bring over 15,000 passengers to Quang Ninh. Of which, the Costa Serena cruise ship will return to Ha Long 3 more times on the Hong Kong - Ha Long route and vice versa.
