More than 70 journalists attend training course on multimedia journalism creation

Speaking at the training course, Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association Tran Trong Dung said: This is an opportunity for journalists, reporters, and members of press and media agencies in the area to equip themselves with journalistic skills and expertise and to answer the difficulties and concerns that journalists encounter in the process of creating multimedia journalism works and experience in making works to participate in journalism awards.

Vice President of the Vietnam Journalists Association Tran Trong Dung hopes that the trainees can apply the knowledge gained in the training course to their actual work, meeting the requirements and tasks and in line with the trend of digital transformation of journalism in the era of technology 4.0.

During the 2 days (August 5 and 6), 70 trainees who are journalists, reporters and editors in the two provinces of Gia Lai and Dak Nong will listen to Associate Professor, Dr. Do Thi Thu Hang - Head of Professional Department, Vietnam Journalists Association and journalist Le Xuan Trung, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Newspaper, impart a lot of important information, knowledge and skills related to creating multimedia journalism works and experience in making works to participate in journalism awards.

These are important and necessary contents to help equip the team of journalists in the province with the necessary skills and knowledge to continue to improve their professional qualifications, especially in creating and organizing the production of multimedia and multi-platform press works to contribute to building a press agency that is increasingly developing in the direction of multimedia and multi-platform following the inevitable trend of modern journalism.

In addition, the students also shared some experiences in producing works for press awards. This is valuable and necessary information for the press team in the province to be more confident in producing high-quality press works to compete and affirm their talents in central and local press competitions.
