At the Conference, departments, agencies, units, localities and enterprises of Dien Bien province introduced and promoted the potential, strengths, destinations, products, some typical tours in the province and connected with provinces, cities, unique and typical tourism events. Especially, the National Tourism Year Program - Dien Bien 2024 was introduced.
Representatives of the Vietnam Tourism Association; Vietnam National Tourism Administration gave speeches on orientations for tourism promotion and advertising in Dien Bien province in the coming time. Tourism businesses exchanged and discussed to provide more multi-dimensional perspectives on the current situation, exploitation situation and solutions to promote the construction and development of tourism products, programs and tours between Dien Bien province and other provinces and cities in the country.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Vu A Bang expressed his joy at listening to the frank exchanges and proposals showing interest and desire in cooperation in developing local tourism. The leaders of the Provincial People's Committee will absorb the opinions at the conference to direct departments, branches and localities to complete in the coming time. In order to cooperate in promoting, advertising and linking tourism development between Dien Bien province and other provinces and cities commensurate with the potential and advantages of the parties, the Vice Chairman of the Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee suggested that localities in the province continue to strengthen cooperation in building specific tourism products, developing tourism products suitable to the needs of tourists. For travel agencies, transportation companies, and tourist accommodation establishments in Dien Bien province and other provinces and cities, Mr. Vu A Bang suggested studying and strengthening closer cooperation in developing and promoting package tours connecting Dien Bien province with other localities in the country. Vietnam Tourism Association; Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, provinces and cities should step up coordination and cooperation with tourism associations and tourism businesses to promote the implementation of Famtrip and Presstrip programs for travel agencies to send tourists, journalists, and writers on tourism to survey and learn about tourist destinations.
