On the morning of September 11, the organizers of the 8WONDER Moon Festival - Autumn Festival officially announced the cancellation of the event.

"In the context of the whole country's support for the people of the Northern provinces who are struggling with the severe damage caused by the impact of storm No. 3 ( Yagi ) and the complicated developments of flooding after the storm, the organizing committee would like to announce the cancellation of the 8WONDER Moon Festival event taking place from September 13 to 15 and 100% refund of ticket prices to audiences who have purchased tickets" - quoted from the announcement.
Accordingly, for audiences who buy tickets on the website vinwonders.com and the VinWonders app, the organizers will refund to the bank account where the tickets were purchased within 30 - 45 days.
For those who bought tickets through agents or individuals, the ticket buyer should contact the person who sold the ticket to get a refund.
The organizers of 8WONDER Moon Festival expressed their hope to receive sympathy and support from the audience before the decision to cancel the event.
The 8WONDER event is expected to be held in December 2024, in Ho Chi Minh City.
Despite the cancellation of the event, the 8WONDER Moon Festival organizers will still contribute an amount equivalent to the expected revenue from ticket sales to support flood and storm recovery efforts, share with those in difficult circumstances, and help people stabilize their lives soon after the storm.
