The Executive Board of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists announces the Decision to cancel and revoke the Gold Medal and Certificate of Exhibition at the 31st Southeast Regional Art Photography Festival in 2024 in Tay Ninh due to the contestant's violation of the Contest Rules and Article 3, Chapter II of the Code of Professional Ethics of the Members of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.
Pursuant to the Charter of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists approved by the Ministry of Home Affairs in Decision No. 376/QD-BNV dated March 12, 2021;
Pursuant to Decision No. 121/QD-NA dated June 8, 2021 of the President of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists on promulgating the "Regulations on organizing and sponsoring art photography competitions and exhibitions";
Pursuant to Decision No. 188/QD-NA dated August 23, 2024 of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists on awarding prizes to the 31st Southeast Regional Art Photography Festival in 2024 in Tay Ninh;
Pursuant to Notice No. 93/TB-LHKV-NA announcing the 31st Southeast Regional Art Photography Festival in 2024 in Tay Ninh;
Consider the application for withdrawal of the award dated August 28, 2024 by author Nguyen Kim Hoan, Ninh Thuan unit.
Considering the proposal of the Organizing Committee of the 31st Southeast Regional Art Photography Festival in 2024 in Tay Ninh.
DECISION:
Article 1. Cancel the Gold Medal for the work "Future Light" and the exhibition work "New Day" by author Nguyen Kim Hoan, Ninh Thuan unit.
Article 2. The Organizing Committee of the 31st Southeast Regional Festival in 2024 in Tay Ninh is responsible for withdrawing the Gold Medal with the Certificate of Recognition for the work "Future Light" and the Certificate of Exhibition Display for the work "New Day" by author Nguyen Kim Hoan and submitting them to the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.
Article 3. The members of the Executive Committee, Chief of Office, Head of the Creative - Exhibition Committee, the Organizing Committee, the Finance - Accounting Department of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists, the Organizing Committee of the 31st Southeast Regional Photo Festival in 2024 in Tay Ninh, the Ninh Thuan Province branch of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists and author Nguyen Kim Hoan shall implement this decision./.
