(Dan Tri) - Iran warns that it will build more nuclear facilities if the US and Israel attack these targets of Tehran.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said the Middle Eastern country will build more nuclear facilities than it currently has if it is attacked by the US or Israel.
"They are threatening to attack our nuclear centers. They can hit the buildings, but they cannot hit the minds that build them. Let them destroy a hundred centers, thousands of them will be rebuilt," he said in a statement broadcast by SNN television.
The Wall Street Journal previously reported that data collected by US intelligence agencies showed that Israel was considering carrying out large-scale attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities this year.
US President Donald Trump said on February 10 that preventing Tehran from developing nuclear weapons could be done with a bomb or by signing a deal. The US leader added that he wanted to reach an agreement with Tehran without resorting to military means.
Tensions between the US and Iran increased during Mr. Trump's first term when in 2018, Mr. Trump withdrew the US from the 2015 nuclear agreement between Iran and the P5 + 1 group (including the 5 permanent members of the United Nations Security Council and Germany).
Under the deal, Iran will limit its uranium enrichment activities in exchange for the lifting of Western sanctions. Iran has always insisted that its nuclear program is purely for civilian and peaceful purposes.
However, since Mr Trump turned his back on the deal, Iran is believed to have restarted its uranium enrichment program at a level that Western governments say is "only for making nuclear weapons".
In the latest related development to boost its nuclear program, Iran recently notified the IAEA of its intention to "significantly increase" its production of enriched uranium up to 60%.
