Today, April 19, the Vietnam Futsal Team will face the China Futsal Team at 2:00 p.m. Coach Diego Giustozzi and his team must win this match to open up the opportunity to continue, after drawing 1-1 with the Myanmar Futsal Team and will meet the Thailand Futsal Team in the final match of Group A.

Assessing the Chinese opponent, captain Pham Duc Hoa commented: “China’s Futsal is developing. According to the information I have found, their players are playing on the 11-a-side field and have just switched to Futsal. However, their skills and physique are very good.”

In the opening match, the Chinese Futsal Team lost to the Thai Futsal Team 1-3, but Pham Duc Hoa commented: “The Thai Futsal Team did not score any more goals and conceded 1 goal in the second half. That is a signal from the Vietnamese Futsal Team to be careful with the Chinese Futsal Team. They are not an easy opponent, so we have to be more careful.”

The captain of the Vietnam Futsal Team also hopes that the whole team will improve their mentality and finishing skills after a 1-1 draw against the Myanmar Futsal Team.

“In the opening match, the Vietnam Futsal Team did not have a stable mentality. Afterwards, the coaching staff met and talked with the players to help the whole team feel more comfortable and relieve psychological pressure. In the recent physical training session, the team's spirit gradually improved.

I think the whole team will play better in the next match. With the current situation, every match is a final match for the Vietnam futsal team. We have to play with more than 100% of our strength to gain important points, thereby moving on to the next round" - Pham Duc Hoa shared.
