On the afternoon of June 27, the Hai Duong Labor Federation announced the decision to dissolve and terminate the operations of the executive committee, standing committee, and inspection committee of 15 grassroots trade unions from July 1, 2025.
These unions include 12 district and city labor federations, industrial park unions, provincial people's committee unions, and provincial party agencies unions. After completing their operations, these units are responsible for handing over 1,051 grassroots unions with 276,699 union members to the provincial labor federation for management.
Most of the leaders of 15 grassroots trade unions in Hai Duong are retired according to Decree 178/2024/ND-CP of the Government . Officials, civil servants and public employees are assigned suitable jobs at the commune level...
In recent times, the trade unions at the grassroots level have done a good job of advising, leading and directing the units to successfully complete the assigned tasks. The work of gathering union members and establishing grassroots trade unions has been carried out synchronously and effectively. Thereby, affirming the role of trade unions in protecting the legitimate rights and interests and taking care of the lives of union members and workers...
The dissolution of the above units is in accordance with Resolution No. 60-NQ/TW dated April 12, 2025 of the Party Central Committee and Official Dispatch No. 4173/TLĐ dated May 28, 2025 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on the arrangement and streamlining of the trade union apparatus.
On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation awarded emulation flags, certificates of merit and certificates of merit to many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in labor and production.
