This morning, July 12, Le Duan Political School held the opening ceremony of the first leadership and management training course in 2024 for 40 officials of Salavan and Savannakhet provinces (Laos).

Accordingly, from July 11 to 25, 2024, 20 officials of Salavan province and 20 officials of Savannakhet province, including: department-level leaders of Party committees, authorities, Lao Front for National Construction and socio-political organizations at district level or planning for these positions; heads and deputy heads of departments of economic groups and state-owned corporations planning for these positions will participate in a centralized training course.

At the training course, Lao officials will be equipped with basic knowledge of leadership and management according to the program issued by the Vietnamese Ministry of Home Affairs, including 10 topics; these programs are adjusted to suit the subjects and actual situations.
This is the first international cooperation leadership and management training course of Quang Tri province for cadres of the two Lao provinces, continuing and promoting the achievements in politics, economy, culture, society and solidarity between Quang Tri province and the two provinces of Salavan and Savannakhet in particular, and the two Parties and States of Vietnam and Laos in general.
