Opening of the 11th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front

Attending the first working day was Ms. Truong Thi Ngoc Anh, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

With the theme: "Solidarity - Democracy - Responsibility - Innovation - Development", at the first working session, the congress consulted to elect the Presidium, the congress secretary, approved the congress program, the congress regulations, and reported on the situation of delegates attending the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Gai Lai province. According to the review report of activities, the 10th Congress for the 2019-2024 term.

At the conference, delegates attending the Congress discussed and commented on the draft Political Report at the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and commented on amending the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

The Congress discussed and evaluated the results of the activities of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations in all aspects of work for the 2019-2024 term; directions and tasks for the 2024-2029 term. In particular, many presentations clearly stated the role of connecting with people of all ethnic groups and religions in the province; experiences and solutions in implementing the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas"; social supervision and criticism work; giving opinions on Party building and government building; national target program on sustainable poverty reduction; mass movement to participate in protecting national security.

The Congress conducted consultations and unanimously elected 93/95 members of the 11th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, term 2024 - 2029; At the same time, it consulted and elected positions in the Standing Committee of the 11th Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, term 2024 - 2029.

At the first working session, the Emulation and Reward Council of the agency and the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee awarded certificates of merit to 35 collectives and 36 individuals with outstanding achievements in the Front's work for the 2019-2024 term.
