The Large-Panel Propaganda Painting Exhibition introduces 70 works by professional and non-professional artists nationwide, selected from the Propaganda Painting Competition organized by the Department of Grassroots Culture, ensuring content, artistry and adherence to the theme. The exhibition will take place for 45 days (from March 27 to May 10, 2024) at the Van Lang Park stage area and along the sidewalk of Tran Phu Street, Viet Tri City.

Leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Phu Tho province gave flowers to the teams participating in the mobile propaganda contest.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy, Deputy Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism emphasized: "In the spirit of the whole country looking forward to the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the People's Committee of Phu Tho province to organize the opening ceremony of the exhibition of large-scale propaganda paintings and the touring venue of the Mobile Propaganda Competition (TTLĐ) to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024) with the theme "returning to Dien Bien ". This is a key task to implement the direction of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat on organizing the celebration of a number of major holidays and important historical events, including propaganda to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory".
Immediately after the opening ceremony of the exhibition, an art performance program was held under the TTLĐ Competition to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory. At the Phu Tho tour location, TTLĐ teams from provinces and cities (Da Nang, Thanh Hoa, An Giang, Kon Tum, Lai Chau and Phu Tho) performed 17 unique singing, dancing and music performances on the theme of praising the homeland, the country, the historic Dien Bien Phu victory and the lives of the working people... to serve a large audience inside and outside the province.

The program is an important political event to propagate the great significance of the historic Dien Bien Phu Victory in the struggle for national independence and unification of our people; affirming that the correct and creative leadership, political, military and diplomatic lines of our Party are the decisive factors in achieving great victory in the resistance war against the French colonialists. Propagating and educating patriotism, revolutionary heroism, the spirit of great national unity and the indomitable will of our people; honoring and expressing gratitude for the great contributions of the armed forces and all classes of people; promoting the tradition of patriotism, pride and the strength of great national unity; creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere among all people competing to achieve achievements in commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory.

The propaganda painting exhibition will take place from March 27 to May 10, 2024 at the Van Lang Park stage area.
At the same time, this is also an opportunity for Phu Tho to introduce and promote the potentials, advantages, characteristics, and traditions of culture and tourism of the province; where the propaganda team can exchange and learn, exchange experiences, improve professional qualifications, and meet the requirements of the period of promoting industrialization and modernization of the country.
